Laser Programmer/Operator
This position is responsible to Program, operate and maintain Laser Machinery (Mazak and NTC Lasers). Set up and execute specific jobs as prioritized by the Laser Leader or Sheet Metal Department Head — maintaining quality, delivery dates and safety requirements at all times. MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE ONLY NEED APPLY.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain machines and perform all PM activities on a timely basis
- Keep lasers aligned / basic machine repairs / organize fixtures
- Clear alarms
- Set up jobs, changes, buy-offs and programming
- Build and weld fixtures
- Deburr parts / punch tooling holes / cut parts
- Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing
- Maintain continuous improvement in quality and productivity – put safety first
