CMM Programmer-Operator
This position requires the employee to program, operate and maintain CMM Machinery in production setting. Knowledge of PC-DMIS is required. Set up and execute specific jobs as prioritized by the Quality Manager or Production manager — maintaining safety, quality, delivery dates and productivity requirements at all times. MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE ONLY NEED APPLY.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain machines and assure they are always in calibration
- Program repeatable part inspections for CMM
- Set up & execute programs / Troubleshoot programs
- Layout parts and fixtures / Inspect parts
- Certify fixtures, bend aids and tools
- Interpret GD&T tolerances as applied to part programs
- Perform annual ISO calibration of tool
- Create part and fixture road maps along with report data
- Create part databases and trend charts
- Debug, edit and add to existing CMM programs
- Maintain CMM computer files according to defined structure
- Assure timely housekeeping of CMM files, including defragging and proper organization of old programs
- Communicate with next shift to report any problems encountered. Update supervisor. Update target time utilized
