experi-metal aerospace certificationExperi-Metal Inc. (EMI) has made another stride in establishing itself as a world-class supplier and leader in the manufacturing industry with the achievement of a new aerospace certification. This certification is AS9100C, which is a quality system standard for producing parts and tooling directly for the aerospace industry.

“Certification for AS9100 Aerospace Standard demonstrates your ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and regulatory requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations.”

—Quality Systems Registrars

This certification enables Experi-Metal to participate directly with the prime manufacturers, such as GKN Aerospace, Rolls Royce, General Electric, Boeing, Honeywell and many others. We are now able to provide these manufacturers with quotes for both parts and tooling directly, rather than having to go through an additional tier.

Earning this aerospace certification required a large amount of dedication from each member of the EMI team, as well as countless resources and training hours. The certification is ultimately the result of passing a company-wide audit of processes and procedures, which was thoroughly conducted by two auditors over the course of four days.

At EMI, we are proud to continue expanding our offerings and abilities to provide customers with the best possible experience, while simultaneously enabling our staff to grow and further develop their individual skill sets, within a world-class manufacturing environment filled with high-tech equipment. This certification provides EMI with a solid foundation to continue building our company and demonstrates the high-caliber level at which Experi-Metal operates—always pushing for continuous improvement to offer each of our customers an experience that is second to none.

celebrating-the-holidays

Every year, our EMI family looks forward to celebrating the holidays with one another. This year, we celebrated in a few extra special ways that allowed us both spend time together and give back to others.

Gleaner’s Community Food Bank Donations

As we continue partnering with Gleaner’s Community Food Bank, EMI helped fight hunger while spreading some holiday cheer. As a result of our efforts, we raised $1,851.01 in monetary donations and 120 pounds in food donations. All together, we were able to provide over 5,653 meals for local families in need. Now that is something to celebrate!

Holiday Mail for Heroes

celebrating the holidays Experi-MetalEMI also encouraged employees to contribute to Holiday Mail for Heroes. This program is conducted by The Red Cross, and sends cards of thanks, encouragement and holiday cheer to members of our U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and military families. They may be far away from home for the season, but our heroes deserve the happiest of holidays, as we would not be able to celebrate our freedom and way of life without their heroic efforts.

Holiday Party

The EMI holiday party was one of laughter, joy and endless memories. Holiday music set the scene for a delicious dinner served in a cozy, festive setting and

lovely family photos were captured as well. The children enjoyed playing with one another, coloring Christmas pictures and crafting their lists for Santa, sitting on Santa’s lap and telling him how good they were this year, and finally….a dance party!
